Our program is a partnership with the Henderson County Department of Parks & Recreation. Our classes are held at the Henderson County Athletics & Activity Center at 708 S. Grove St, in Hendersonville, NC. We normally meet in the Fitness room (inside the back of the gymnasium).

Classes are normally held at the following times:

Tuesday (Study Group)
Most Tuesdays evenings, depending upon student interest and availability of a study group leader.

Thursday (Adult Class)
6:00 – 7:30 PM

Saturday (Adult Class)
8:30 – 10:00 AM

While these are the normal class times, we sometimes vary the class schedule to accommodate students and instructors’ needs, or other programs at the AAC. You are welcome to drop in to observe a class at any time, though we recommend you call in advance to ensure the class schedule for that day hasn’t been altered.

Classes are open to adults age 18 and over (16+ with parental consent).

To register, please contact the instuctor at 828.435.2075 to schedule your first class. Visitors are always welcome to watch a class and ask questions – we recommend you watch a class before joining, and we offer a free first class trial. When you come to your first class, wear loose, durable, comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity. A martial arts uniform (gi/dogi/dobak) is not required for your first class, but you are welcome to wear one you already own. A standard black dogi is required by the end of the introductory material (usually about 4-6 weeks), and may be purchased from us if you do not own one.
